As part of efforts to raise awareness about cyber risks that may affect children, ninth-grade students attended an awareness session titled “Internet Safety” on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the Women of the Sun Center, affiliated with the Stouh Beirut Association, in Dhour El Shweir.
The session was delivered by clinical psychologist Dr. Charlotte Khalil, alongside Major Elie Dagher from the General Staff – Information Branch of the Internal Security Forces, Cybercrime Unit.
The speakers emphasized the importance of safe internet use and the need to be aware of the risks children may encounter during their daily interaction with the digital world, as well as best practices to ensure protection from these risks.
