“Femmes Du Soleil” is Stouh Beirut’s transformative initiative, aimed at empowering single mothers facing

difficult social and economic conditions, as well as orphaned girls who have lost their father or both parents, have no fixed income, and are struggling with complex socio-economic challenges.

Women residing in the shelter will benefit from a comprehensive Mental Health and Psychosocial Support

(MHPSS) program, helping them overcome trauma and build psychological resilience.

At the same time, they will receive various training programs to enhance their professional skills, including

entrepreneurship, digital and IT literacy, sewing, and culinary arts. These trainings will equip them with the

necessary tools to regain their independence and integrate into the job market once the program is completed. We will also ensure that young girls wishing to pursue higher

education receive the necessary financial support.
