The first is the Reception Center, which hosts women and girls between the ages of 18 and 55 who have no provider whether orphans, widows, or divorced women according to specific criteria. This section offers psychological and social support programs to accompany the residents, helping them heal and regain the ability to rise again.
The second section is the Development Center, which provides young men and women seeking skills that will enable them to enter the workforce and achieve independence in addition to the beneficiaries of the Reception Center with professional training, capacity-building, and development programs.”
The Association’s project manager, Mrs. Rosy Haddad El Bonji, explained the center’s various facilities, which include a clinic, rooms for technological and craft training, a teaching kitchen for food production, and rooms dedicated to sewing and other trades.
During the tour, the First Lady met a group of donors who contributed to equipping sections of the center, driven by their belief in the importance of this unique project, which empowers women psychologically first, and opens the door for them to independence and productivity, ultimately allowing them to raise their children in a healthy environment.
