Stouh Beirut 2025… A Sun Born from People’s Hearts Lights Up the Holiday Sky in Lebanon

Tuesday, December 23, 2025, was not an ordinary day. It was written in bold letters under one powerful title: Giving.
A day that embodied the highest values of Lebanese social solidarity across all sects, regions, and backgrounds under one humanitarian roof, during the “Stouh Beirut 2025” Telethon, held under the slogan “Be the Sun of the Holiday”, while the true sun was the people themselves.

The telethon was opened at 9:30 a.m. by Dalia Dagher, President and Founder of Stouh Beirut Association, with a live broadcast on the program’s Facebook and Instagram pages, supported by dozens of websites and digital platforms, before later transitioning to live television coverage.

The broadcast extended for more than 14 continuous hours across social media and TV screens, representing a major humanitarian bet on the ability of Lebanese people at home and abroad to lend a helping hand to families facing extremely difficult living conditions.

The telethon witnessed a remarkable artistic, media, and social presence, including UNIFIL Force Commander Major General Diodato Abagnara, Head of Protocol Nicola Castelli, and several well-known figures, alongside heartfelt contributions from artists, media professionals, and humanitarian activists.

At 5:00 p.m., the opening segment brought together religious figures from different denominations in a unifying scene that reflected the true message of Stouh Beirut: unity, love, and solidarity, portraying the authentic image of Lebanon.

17 Humanitarian Cases… One Lebanese Heart

Throughout the day, 17 humanitarian cases (out of 25) were presented, spanning from the far north to the far south of Lebanon. Donations ranged from $4 to $20,000 and more, contributing to the collection of approximately USD 350,000, which will be distributed to the cases according to their needs.
It is worth noting that the total required amount exceeds this figure by far.

Donations remain open for the cases supported by the association via
www.stouhbeirut.org,
by calling 70-388389,
or through Stouh Beirut’s social media platforms.

The association extends its deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed even with the “widow’s mite” and to all the guests who came from various regions and backgrounds to take part in this profoundly humanitarian day.

14 Years of Giving

This year, Stouh Beirut Association enters its 14th consecutive season, after years of commitment and giving despite successive economic crises. The association has proven its credibility through continuous humanitarian initiatives, most recently the “Femme du Soleil” project for women’s empowerment, implemented at a cost of USD 600,000 with the support of donors, in addition to annual activities supporting medical, educational, and social cases.

During the telethon, moving testimonials were shared by children who recovered from illness and others who continued their education despite disabilities and harsh circumstances thanks to the association’s support.
Among these stories were Christina Eid, Shadi Kalousian, Wajih Bayno, and Gio Armouni living proof that when humanity begins, it never stops.

“Stouh Beirut”… More Than an Association

Stouh Beirut is not merely an association; it is a national humanitarian movement that reunites hearts before collecting funds, proving that genuine solidarity can save lives and create hope in a country worn down by crises.
