Digital Child Protection: Initiative by Femmes du Soleil

As part of its 2026 action plan, Stouh Beirut Association organized a week of community-driven activities at its “Femmes du Soleil” center in Dhour Choueir, aimed at strengthening family awareness and social engagement.

As a continuation of its awareness campaigns for the second consecutive year, the association hosted a lecture on the risks of the internet and safe technology use. The session was conducted in collaboration with Major Nabil Abdoun from the Cybercrime Division of the Internal Security Forces, along with psychologist Nawal El Khoury.

The lecture attracted more than 175 participants, including mothers and students, reflecting a strong community interest in digital safety and responsible online behavior.

The association emphasized that these initiatives are part of a clear and structured plan designed to respond to the evolving needs of Lebanese society. They align with its 2026 mission, which focuses on supporting women in need through psychological assistance, empowerment, and professional development,reinforcing the essential role of women and families in building a more aware and cohesive society.
