Antoine and Georges Salem

After years of hardship, Antoine Salem (68) and his brother Georges Salem (54) have finally begun a new chapter.

Following the closure of their small supermarket, the brothers lost both their jobs and their home, leaving them with no income or family support. Antoine spent nine years living on the streets near Sassine, while both brothers relied on the kindness of strangers to survive.

Today, thanks to the support of Stouh Beirut and the generosity of donors, Antoine and Georges have moved into a safe new home. They have also received essential assistance to help them rebuild their lives with stability, hope, and dignity.

Their journey is a reminder that compassion can change lives and that together, we can give people not just shelter, but a new beginning.
