Jean Paul (10) and Nehmet Allah (8) are part of a family of six living in extremely difficult conditions in a home that is barely suitable for habitation. Nehmet Allah suffers from epilepsy and ADHD, while Jean Paul faces communication difficulties and delayed speech. In addition to caring for their children, the family also looks after Elie’s father-in-law, who is paralyzed and living with dementia, as well as an uncle with an intellectual disability who is unable to work.

Elie himself urgently needs hernia surgery, as his condition significantly affects his ability to carry out daily tasks. Meanwhile, his wife works long hours simply to provide for the family’s basic needs. For the past five years, the family has been sleeping on the floor because they cannot afford beds or essential furniture.

In support of the family, Stouh Beirut has provided  financial assistance. While these contributions provide much-needed relief, the family’s needs remain far greater.

Today, they continue to struggle to afford essential medication and therapy sessions for both the children and the elderly family members, including psychomotor therapy for Nehmet Allah and speech therapy for Jean Paul.
